The Mason Jar is closed due to the city-wide boil order.

With a citywide boil order until Sunday for the city of Lowell, The Mason Jar is will remain closed on Friday and Saturday. We’re following health department guidelines to keep our patrons safe.

Clean water is a huge part of running a restaurant—it’s used in your ice tea, coffee and ice cubes. Do you want us washing glasses, plates, bowls and silverware with water that isn’t safe to drink? NOPE!

We know some Lowell restaurants have continued to keep their doors open. After consulting the health department, we knew there was no question that we need to close until the boil order from the city water department is lifted. We care about our guests and don’t want to jeopardize anyone’s health. The Mason Jar will follow all health department guidelines regarding the matter.

We look forward to serving you, safely, on Sunday morning at 7 a.m., when the boil order is lifted. Please watch our website for updates. Thank you for supporting The Mason Jar.
