The Mason Jar opened in Lowell on April 15th, 2019. In addition to guests from our hometown of Lowell, many guests travel from across Northwest Indiana and the Chicagoland area to visit our unique restaurant/bar.
Guests love the interesting details of our restaurant. The building used to be a water station in Lowell. We removed the water pipe from the floor and replaced it with a thick glass floor panel, where you can see antique mason jars underneath.
The bar stools are made of old pipes from the watering station. Even if you aren’t visiting the bar, stop in and check them out on your way to the dining room.
Our servers, bartenders, hosts/hostesses, kitchen staff and management are dedicated to providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests. We are a locally owned restaurant. If there is something we can improve on, please ask for a manager. We want every customer to be 100% satisfied.
The Mason Jar is a proud member of the Lowell Chamber of Commerce.
